# Depth Player

> Depth Player is a free AI 2D to 3D VR video player for Meta Quest headsets (Quest 3, Quest 3S, Quest Pro, Quest 2) that converts 2D video to stereoscopic 3D in real time on the headset and smooths motion with frame interpolation. - 2D to 3D: an on-device AI monocular depth model (ZipDepth, 512x288) estimates per-frame depth on the Quest GPU; the app renders a separate view per eye (depth-image-based rendering) with occlusion handling and temporal stabilisation.
- 60 fps and higher: motion-compensated frame interpolation (motion smoothing) converts 24/30 fps video to 60, 72, 90 or 120 fps, with scene-cut and fast-motion artifact protection.

- Other Quest video players (Skybox, Moon VR Player, HereSphere) play existing 3D/VR video; Depth Player additionally converts ordinary 2D video to 3D live.
